Frequently Asked Questions

  • Integrative medicine “integrates” conventional approaches and complementary therapies to achieve optimal health and healing.

“Integrative Medicine is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person, including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapies.”

  • Integrative medicine is for healthy people (to prevent illness and promote well-being) and for those with chronic health conditions (for treatment and healing).

Here are common conditions that may benefit from an integrative approach to care:

    • Autoimmune diseases

    • Chronic pain

    • Chronic fatigue

    • Migraines and headaches

    • Cancer (alongside conventional cancer therapy)

    • Digestive disorders

    • Mental and emotional health

    • High blood pressure

    • Menstrual issues

    • Sleep issues

  • Healing with Intention services are for ages 18 and above.

Our services are for those interested in evaluating their health and their lives to see whether that is in alignment with their health and wellness goals and working overtime to make changes that improve their health and their life.

Healing with Intention is for you if you want to prevent illness or treat chronic illness with a holistic approach that includes reconnecting with your own intuitive wisdom to guide your healing journey and then using a variety of tools including ritual, herbs, essential oils, diet, movement, and mind-body medicine to help facilitate and support your healing journey.

  • Your first visit is spent getting to know each other and understanding your health and wellness journey up to this point.

After scheduling your initial consultation, I will request that you send me any relevant medical records (including any specialist visits, any recent primary care visits, recent labs or imaging).

You will receive a detailed initial questionnaire to complete and return before your visit. I will review all of this information prior to your initial visit.

We will spend our initial time together discussing your health, and your hopes for your health, and develop an initial plan to address your concerns.

  • To get the most out of this work—and to honor your time, energy, and financial investment—I recommend beginning with a structured season of care.

The Healing Intensive — A Season of Transformation
    $2385 over 13 weeks
Includes your initial consultation and five follow-up visits, along with ongoing management of labs, supplements, and prescriptions between visits.

The Healing Continuum — A Season Where Change Takes Root
    $2160 over 6 months
Includes six follow-up visits and continued support as healing deepens and becomes integrated into daily life.

  • Yes. Individual visits are available.

    Initial Consultation (90 minutes)$650
    Follow-Up Visit (60 minutes)$400

    Some people begin this way.
However, in my experience, consistent follow-up over time allows us to build momentum and create more meaningful, lasting change.

Why do you recommend committing to a package?

Because healing takes time—and continuity matters.

Working together regularly allows us to understand your body more deeply, make thoughtful adjustments along the way, and build momentum instead of starting over each visit.

And I’ve seen this again and again:
when you commit to the work and are fully engaged in the process, you begin to see the changes.

This approach helps you get the most out of your time, your energy, and your investment in your health.

  • That’s an important question to sit with.

This work asks for honesty, consistency, and a willingness to stay engaged with the process.
If you feel ready to invest in your healing, we begin.
    If not, that’s okay—timing matters

  • No, I do not accept insurance.

I created this practice to focus on whole health, healing, and transformation—work that takes time, attention, and relationship. In a conventional insurance-based model, visits are often shorter, care is fragmented, and both patients and clinicians are limited by reimbursement rules.

By choosing not to contract with insurance, I am able to spend the time needed to truly understand you and your story, to think carefully about your care, and to walk alongside you as healing unfolds. My focus stays where it belongs—on you, not on billing requirements or time constraints.

When you work with me, you are investing in:

    • Time to be deeply known and understood

    • Years of medical training and clinical experience

    • A physician who is fully present and focused on your journey

    • Care that is high-touch, thoughtful, and designed to create meaningful change

This model allows us to work differently—more intentionally, more collaboratively, and with the depth that true healing often requires.

  • Unfortunately, at this time, I am not able to see patients who have Medicare or Medicaid—even if you plan to pay out of pocket.

The rules around this are complex, but they relate to my current work caring for patients in a hospital setting that participates in these insurance programs.

If my approach resonates with you and you have Medicare or Medicaid, I would still love to stay connected. You are welcome to participate in group workshops, classes, or events, and I’m happy to explore whether there is another way we can work together.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
